During a ‘live’ performance, I used a mobile phone to systematically ‘switch off’ advertising on the Alexanderplatz. Based on your personal preferences, a specialized chip implanted within your cell gives power back to the user, by utilizing technology to eliminate distracting visual messages.
The result here: Berlin circa 1984.
